Well since I want to be like everyone else, I am going to do a catch up blog:
DJ: He is close to 9 months old and getting so big. He is 2 ½ feet tall and 22 inches. He is crawling and “zooming” around the house. He likes to hold people’s fingers and try to stand up on his own, and he can “walk” holding our fingers. We visited Gpa and Martha last Friday. He was hysterical over there playing with their balloons and trying to grab Gpa’s tennis balls that were at the bottom of his stroller. Currently, he does not have any teeth, but that is ok.. He will get them when he is ready. He is such a great baby. Normally only grumpy when he is tired and/or hungry. Other than that, he loves to be with people and plays with pretty much everyone and anyone. Of course I had to share pics of him for you all to see. :)
My Job: Still at the same place and loving to be off on Fridays and spending the day with DJ. I just wish it could be permanent, but when tax season starts, I will need to work on Fridays for a few months. I just hope that I can get a raise or something. I have not had one the whole time (almost 4 years) that I have been here. But they have been great and allowed me to be off to be with DJ and to do some work from home on occasion.
My Family: Uncle Neil has been staying with us and it has been a lot of fun either just talking, doing errands, or other activities. He and Ty get a long great so its fun to see Ty get “out of his shell” and talk to another guy that he has things in common with.
It has been fun hanging out with the other family members as well and we will be doing a lot more of it this week.
My New Phone: Ty and I both got a blackberry curve. I love it so much. It is my PDA, video camera, phone, GPS, text messenger, phone, and other things all in one. It is great. I just have to figure out some other features and get it to work to its full potential. So if anyone has one, please feel free to help a sista out.. :)
